If you think Epsom salts are just for baths, think again. These little crystals are secretly skincare superheroes, ready to take your body from dry and dull to soft, glowing, and oh-so-touchable. Making your own body scrub with Epsom salt is easier than you think, and once you try it, your skin—and your senses—will thank you.


Epsom salt has natural exfoliating powers that help sweep away dead skin cells and reveal the smooth, fresh skin underneath. Unlike sugar scrubs, which are gentle, salt scrubs have a bit more grit, making them perfect if you want a serious scrub that actually feels like it’s working. Plus, the magnesium and other minerals in Epsom salt can be absorbed through your skin, giving your body a little wellness boost while you buff. Grab a handful of your scrub and start rubbing it into your skin using circular motions. Work in sections, and don’t be shy to scoop more as needed. Rinse everything away with warm water, pat dry, and finish with your favourite body oil or moisturiser to lock in the softness.
