DIY LUXE BATH BOMBS

Have some fun with your next tub-time session with a home made, luxe bath bomb (made with our super soothing Epsom bath salts). You’ll be able to create different scented bath bombs without losing any of the benefits our Epsom salts have to offer.

To create your very own DIY bath bomb, all you need is a few ingredients and you’ll be on your way to very a personal, relaxation experience.

DIY BATH BOMB INGREDIENTS (makes 4 bath bombs) 1 cup baking soda ½ cup citric acid ½ cup SaltsAndCo Australia Pure Epsom bath salts or for some scented bombs (that are #dabomb ) select from our Master Scents range ½ cup corn-starch colouring pigment (optional) 2 ½ tablespoons almond oil (or melted coconut oil) ¾ tablespoon water Bath bomb moulds

METHOD 1. In a medium bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients together. Add as much or as little colour pigment to achieve desired look. Whisk to combine. 2. In a separate small bowl, mix together the wet ingredients. 3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones very slowly. (this is important, otherwise the citric acid will activate, which is used to create the fizzing effect). Mix until combined, or until the ingredients look like wet sand. 4. Fill each half of the mould, packing the mixture in slightly until it’s overflowing. Press the halves together firmly. Let the filled mould sit for one minute. Lightly tap the mould and gently pull it apart to remove the bath bomb. Let the bath bombs dry for 24 hours before dropping into your tub 🛁 Enjoy !
